Sacroiliac Joint Pain
Sacroiliac Joint Pain is the pain in the sacroiliac joint region that may be caused by any abnormal motion in the sacroiliac joint. It typically results in inflammation of the sacroiliac joint, and can be debilitating.
Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is improper movement of the joints at the bottom of the spine that connect the sacrum to the pelvis. It can result in pain in the low back and legs, or inflammation of the joints known as sacroiliitis.
The sacrum is a triangular bone at the bottom of the spine, below the lumbar region of the spine and above the tailbone. It consists of five fused vertebral segments.
